ABOUT FERRISBURGH CENTRAL SCHOOL

Ferrisburgh Central School is a student centered learning environment supporting pre-kindergarten through sixth grade students in the bucolic town of Ferrisburgh, Vermont.

Our dedicated staff of teachers and paraprofessionals provides approximately 155 PK - 6th grade students with a continuum of educational opportunities in a personalized and caring environment.

The FCS curriculum is ever changing to meet the recent requirements of the Common Core State Standards, Next Generation Science Standards and the C3 Framework for Social Studies Standards.

We have excellent community support, with over 70 volunteers serving our students and the school in a variety of ways.

FCS has recently joined the unified district of Addison Northwest and we will be working over the next several years to align with the new comprehensive district while maintaining our unique small school approach. Utilizing multi-tiered support systems such as Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports  (PBIS) and Response to Intervention, we work to support students in all aspects of their school experience on a personalized level.

Please feel free to contact the principal, Rae Donovan if you would like any information about the school at rdonovan@anwsd.org
