Survival- We will use materials to help solve a "human problem" by mimicking animal behaviors, determine patters of behaviors that help offspring survive, and observe how young are similar to their parents.
Light - We will make observations through experiments to determine if objects can only be seen when illuminated.
Moon - We will observe the moon and describe its patterns.
Sound - We will do investigations to collect evidence that sound is made by vibrating materials.
Penguins - We will study the continents, penguin facts, and do lots of measuring!
